Liz Phair once sang that the best part of breaking up was finding someone else to take your breath away, and for those who remember their first date there is something magical about that moment when you get the feeling that you could really hit it off with the person that you are with.  It is this type of magical moment that Match.com has managed to capture in their new ad campaign that is set to the sweet whimsical sounds of Matthew P and a ukulele as a boy manages to find his true love from across a train platform.

Directed by Nacho Gayan the new advert from the creative team of Mother London is the follow-up to the popular dating website’s piano advertisement of last year trading in the sweet harmony of the piano keys for the upbeat soothing sounds of the ukulele in an effort to replicate the tone of love at first site.

The outstanding part of the advert is that it features music by Matthew P in a unique collaboration that is sure to catch people’s attention since the song ‘She Began to Dance’ is practically a tale of love at first sight anyhow.

In fact, it’s hard not to want to fall in love after hearing it because it’s a reminder of just how much fun it can be.  The video fulfils this same promise by featuring a boy strumming the instrument singing to a girl across the train platform who he thinks he has lost forever after the train leaves, that is at least until he sees she has crossed the platform and is actually sitting behind him.

The premise is that if you choose Match.com you will have your own magical meeting just like this, and between the music and the setting it’s hard to deny that it wouldn’t be pretty sweet if you did.
